సత్యం జ్ఞానమనంతం నిత్యమనాకాశం పరమాకాశమ్ ।
గోష్ఠప్రాంగణ రింఖణలోల మనాయాసం పరమాయాసమ్ ।
మాయాకల్పిత నానాకార మనాకారం భువనాకారమ్ ।
క్ష్మామానాథ మనాథం ప్రణమత గోవిందం పరమానందమ్ ॥
సత్యస్వరూపుడు, జ్ఞానమూర్తి, అనంతుడు, నిత్యుడు, ఆకాశంలా విస్తరించి ఉన్న పరమాత్ముడు.
గోకుల ప్రాంగణంలో పిల్లలతో కలిసి ఆడుతూ సరదాగా తిరిగేవాడు.
మాయ వల్ల అనేక రూపాలు ధరించినా, తాను రూపరహితుడే; అయినా సమస్త జగత్తే ఆయన రూపం.
భూమికి ఆధారం, అనాథలకు నాథుడు – అట్టి పరమానంద స్వరూపుడైన గోవిందుని నమస్కరిద్దాం.
మృత్స్నామత్సీహేతి యశోదా తాడనశైశవ సంత్రాసమ్ ।
వ్యాదితవక్త్రా లోకిత లోకాలోక చతుర్దశ లోకాలిమ్ ।
లోకత్రయపుర మూలస్తంభం లోకాలోక మనాలోకమ్ ।
లోకేశం పరమేశం ప్రణమత గోవిందం పరమానందమ్ ॥
“ఇది మట్టి తిన్నావా?” అని యశోదమ్మ మందలించగా భయపడే బాలకృష్ణుడు.
అతడు నోరు తెరిచినప్పుడు అందులో మొత్తం ప్రపంచమూ, పద్నాలుగు లోకాలూ కనిపించాయి.
మూడు లోకాలకూ ఆధారమైన మూలస్తంభం ఆయనే.
లోకాలకు అధిపతి, పరమేశ్వరుడు – అట్టి గోవిందుని నమస్కరిద్దాం.
త్రైవిష్టపరిపు వీరఘ్నం క్షితిభారఘ్నం భవరోగఘ్నమ్ ।
కైవల్యం నవనీతాహార మనాహారం భువనాహారమ్ ।
వైమల్యస్ఫుటచేతోవృత్తి విశేషాభాస మనాభాసమ్ ।
శైవం కేవలశాంతం ప్రణమత గోవిందం పరమానందమ్ ॥
స్వర్గానికి శత్రువులైన రాక్షసులను సంహరించేవాడు, భూమి భారాన్ని తగ్గించేవాడు, జననమరణ వ్యాధిని తొలగించేవాడు.
వెన్న (నవనీతం) తినే బాలుడు అయినా, జగత్తునే భుజించగల మహాశక్తి కలవాడు.
పవిత్రమైన చిత్తంలో మాత్రమే ఆయన ప్రకాశిస్తాడు.
శాంతస్వరూపుడైన పరమాత్మ – అట్టి గోవిందుని నమస్కరిద్దాం.
గోపాలం ప్రభులీలా విగ్రహ గోపాలం కులగోపాలమ్ ।
గోపీఖేలన గోవర్ధనధృతి లీలాలాలిత గోపాలమ్ ।
గోభిర్నిగదిత గోవింద స్ఫుటనామానం బహునామానమ్ ।
గోపీగోచరదూరం ప్రణమత గోవిందం పరమానందమ్ ॥
గోపాలుడిగా అవతరించి, లీలామూర్తిగా గోకులాన్ని కాపాడినవాడు.
గోపికలతో ఆటలాడుతూ, గోవర్ధనగిరిని ఎత్తి రక్షించినవాడు.
గోవులు, గోపికలు ఆయనను “గోవింద” అని పిలుస్తారు; ఆయనకు అనేక నామాలు ఉన్నాయి.
ఇంద్రియాలకు అందనివాడు అయినా, భక్తులకు సులభుడు – అట్టి గోవిందుని నమస్కరిద్దాం.
గోపీమండల గోష్ఠీభేదం భేదావస్థ మభేదాభమ్ ।
శశ్వద్గోఖుర నిర్ధూతోద్గత ధూళీధూసర సౌభాగ్యమ్ ।
శ్రద్ధాభక్తి గృహీతానంద మచింత్యం చింతిత సద్భావమ్ ।
చింతామణి మహిమానం ప్రణమత గోవిందం పరమానందమ్ ॥
గోపికల మధ్య భేదాలున్నట్లు కనిపించినా, వాస్తవానికి అవన్నీ ఆయనలోనే ఏకత్వంగా ఉన్నాయి.
గోపాలుడి పాదధూళితో పవిత్రమైన గోకులం మహాభాగ్యమైంది.
శ్రద్ధాభక్తులతో ఆయనను పొందవచ్చు; ఆయన ఆనందం అచింత్యం.
చింతామణిలాంటి మహిమ గల గోవిందుని నమస్కరిద్దాం.
స్నానవ్యాకుల యోషిద్వస్త్ర ముపాదాయాగ ముపారూఢమ్ ।
వ్యాదిత్సంతీరథ దిగ్వస్త్రా దాతుముపాకర్షంతం తాః
నిర్ధూతద్వయ శోకవిమోహం బుద్ధం బుద్ధేరంతస్థమ్ ।
సత్తామాత్రశరీరం ప్రణమత గోవిందం పరమానందమ్ ॥
స్నానం చేస్తున్న గోపికల వస్త్రాలను తీసుకుని చెట్టుపైకి ఎక్కిన కృష్ణుడు.
వారిని తన వద్దకు రమ్మని పిలిచి, చివరకు వారికి వస్త్రాలు ఇచ్చాడు.
ఈ లీలా ద్వారా అహంకారం, మోహం తొలగిపోతాయి.
జ్ఞానస్వరూపుడైన, శుద్ధమైన సత్త్వమూర్తి – అట్టి గోవిందుని నమస్కరిద్దాం.
కాంతం కారణకారణ మాదిమనాదిం కాలధనాభాసమ్ ।
కాళిందీగత కాళియశిరసి సునృత్యంతం ముహురత్యంతమ్ ।
కాలం కాలకలాతీతం కలితాశేషం కలిదోషఘ్నమ్ ।
కాలత్రయ గతిహేతుం ప్రణమత గోవిందం పరమానందమ్ ॥
అందమైనవాడు, సృష్టికి కారణమైన పరమకారణం; ఆది లేక అంతం లేని వాడు.
యమునా నదిలో కాళీయ సర్పంపై నృత్యం చేసినవాడు.
కాలానికి అతీతుడు, కలియుగ దోషాలను తొలగించేవాడు.
భూత, భవిష్యత్, వర్తమాన కాలాలకూ కారణమైన గోవిందుని నమస్కరిద్దాం.
బృందావనభువి బృందారకగణ బృందారాధిత వంద్యాయాం ।
కుందాభామల మందస్మేరసుధానందం సుహృదానందమ్ ।
వంద్యాశేష మహాముని మానస వంద్యానందపద ద్వంద్వమ్ ।
వంద్యాశేషగుణాబ్ధిం ప్రణమత గోవిందం పరమానందమ్ ॥
వృందావనంలో దేవతలచే ఆరాధింపబడే వాడు.
మల్లెపువ్వులా తెల్లని, మధురమైన చిరునవ్వుతో ఆనందం పంచేవాడు.
మహర్షుల హృదయాల్లో నివసించే పాదపద్మాలు కలవాడు.
అనేక గుణాల సముద్రమైన గోవిందుని నమస్కరిద్దాం.
గోవిందాష్టకమేతదధీతే గోవిందార్పితచేతా యో ।
గోవిందాచ్యుత మాధవ విష్ణో గోకుల నాయక కృష్ణేతి ।
గోవిందాంఘ్రి సరోజధ్యాన సుధాజలధౌత సమస్తాఘో।
గోవిందం పరమానందామృత మంతస్థం స తమభ్యేతి ॥
ఈ గోవిందాష్టకాన్ని భక్తితో చదివే వాడు, తన మనస్సును గోవిందునికి అర్పిస్తే –
“గోవిందా, అచ్యుతా, మాధవా, విష్ణో, కృష్ణా” అని స్మరిస్తూ –
ఆయన పాదపద్మాలను ధ్యానించడం వల్ల పాపాలన్నీ తొలగిపోతాయి.
అంతరంగంలో పరమానందామృత స్వరూపుడైన గోవిందుని సాక్షాత్కారం పొందుతాడు.
