Ohio  January 15th, 2014: Hindu Temple of Greater Cinciniati is the most famous temple in Ohio. Shree Ganesh, Goddess Lakshmi, Shree Hanuman, Shree Radha Krishna, Shree Karthikeya, Bhagawan Mahavir, Lord Srinathji,  Lord Shiva, Shree Ram, Shree Lakshmi Narayan, Goddess Durga, Goddess Saraswathi, Lord Jagarnath, Shree Chitragupta and Lord Venkateswara are the various deities who can be prayed at the temple. At the Cincinnati Hindu temple the idols are also described in detail and their status in Hindu Society and the symbolic aspects they represent is explained in length. Such explanation and detailing is very vital for developing the next generation’s School of thought in spirituality, culture and religion.

 

The various Pooja schedules which are conducted at the Hindu temple are – Vishnu sahasranamam Paraayan daily at 7:00 PM, Shiva Mahima Stotra on every Monday at 7:00 PM, every Tuesday Hanuman Chalisa at 7:00 PM, Vishnu Sahasranam Paraayan on Thursday at 7:00 PM, Sri Venkateswara Pooja on every Friday at 7:00 PM.

 

JituBhai Patel is the president of the committee, Vinod Sudhakar is the vice president , M. Muraleetharan is the secretary and Amar Sharma is the treasuerer. The other trustee members are - Geeta Mehan, Manish Srivastava, Sangita Patel, Rakesh Patil, Asit Saha, Vaneet Rastogi, Laxmi S. Srivastava, Mahima Devarajan.

 

The special services which are conducted at the temple are: Murugan Abhishekam is conducted on every second Saturday of the month from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Sundarkand Path is recited on every 3rd Sunday from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Balaji Abhishekam on every fourth Saturday at 10:30 AM and Shri Ganesh Atharvahirsha Path on every fourth Sunday at 11 am.

 

Hindu Temple of Greater Cincinati is located at 4920 Klatte Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45244. The directions to reach from Downtown Cincinati  is Take I-471 South to Kentucky for about 5 miles then take I-275 East to Ohio for about 8 miles to State Route 32 Exit - Take State Route 32 West exit , after getting on State Route 32, go to the first Traffic Light and turn right. Go to the Traffic Light and turn left onto Summerside. Drive for approximately two miles and turn right onto Klatte Road. Go to the end of Klatte Road and the temple entrance is on the right.

 

 The temple timings are from 9:00 to 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM from Monday to Friday and the timings on Saturday and Sunday are from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
