USA  January 15^th, 2014: Sankranthi festival was grandly celebrated at local father RYAS auditorium in Tennessee, USA. It was organized ecstatically by Tennessee telugu samithi. All children and elders appeared in traditional attire. North America telugu association (NATA) former president Thotakura prasad was the chief guest of this event. Children and ladies attended the fashion and rangoli competitions with a lot of zeal and vigour. Mr. Prasad expressed his happiness over the active involvement of all telugu NRIs in these celebrations. Later he was grandly honoured by the organizers. Tennessee telugu samithi chairman Mettukuri Revathi conveyed her sankranthi greetings to all the attendees. The festive event was well planned and organized by treasurer Aramanla Ramesh, Paruchuri Madhu, Mudumbi Ranganayaki, Latha Sashi, Kamatham Kiran, Dantyala sowmya, Kanagala Harika and others from the Telugu samithi.
