Today’s temple round-up: Hindu Temple of Florida, Florida

According to Hindu Scriptures "Eko Devaha vipraha bahuda vadanti” which means that The God is one and wise men give different names. Hinduism truly believes in this principle where we have numerous gods and goddesses to worship.  The most beautiful temple of Florida - the Hindu Temple of Florida have all the various Gods and Goddesses presented for devotion. The Temple was built in the original Hindu architectural style in 1996. There is highly ornate Raja Gopuram at the second floor level  which believed to be one of the tallest in the country.

Lord Satya Narayana, Goddess Lakshmi, Shri Ram, Lakshaman, Sita Devi, Lord Shiva in the form of Shiva Lingam and Shri Krishna with His consort Radha Devi, Lord Subramanya, and Godesses Valli and Devasena, Lord Ganesha and also  five of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu bestow their blessings in the Hindu Temple of Florida The committee involves in free Vidyalaya (Sunday school) where students prepare for SAT English, SAT Math, public speaking, essay writing, comparative religion; Shlokas, Yoga, and languages such as Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu. 

The various pooja services which are conducted at the temple are: Abhishekam, Kalyanotsava, Sri Satyanarayana katha, Deepavali pooja,  Ganesh Chaturthi And Visarjana, Ganesha and Gowri Vratham, Karthika Somavram, Mahashivarathri, Masi Maham Pooja, Panguni Utharam Pooja, Sri Rama Navami Pooja, Subramanya Shashti Pooja, Thai Poosam Pooja, Vaikasi Visakam Pooja, Vara Mahalakshmi Vratham etc…

Manik Chamarthi, Srinivas Guthikonda, Ashok Komarla, Rajyam Korabathina, Nithyanandaswamy kora, Ramnath Pai, M.P.Ravindranathan, Durga Rao Parimi, Gaurangi Patel, Uma Rattehalli,Ashit Vijayapura, C.R.Venkataramu,Sai Varma, Jaganath Shaligram, K V Sundaresh, eshav Babu, Uma Krishnamoorthy, Vijay Prakash and Sridhar Vallampatla are the board of trustee of the temple.

The Temple visiting timings are from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on weekdays. On Saturdays and Sundays the timings are from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
