Hampi, January 11, 2014: 

An air of excitement was all over hampi on account of pongal cultural celebrations. Various cultural programs and other competitions organized were attracting the audience with ease. Stone lifting competition arranged at kaddirampura had been the most entertaining. It witnessed participants from Raichur, bijapur, belgaum, bagalkot and hospet. Stone lifting was organized at different weight levels notably, 100, 155 and 175 kgs.

Several other cultural programmes performed aroused loads of fervour and excitement among all the spectators who witnessed this celebration.
