Vemulawada January 10^th, 2014: The Sri Raja RajeshwaraSwamyDevasthanam in Vemulawada is gearing up for the MahaSivarathriJatara scheduled to be organised from February 26 to 28, with the MahaSivarathri celebrations on February 27.

As a prelude to the jatara, DRO K. Krishna Reddy conducted a meeting with the temple, police and other officials and reviewed the arrangements at the temple town on Thursday. On this occasion, he informed the RTC authorities to operate additional bus services from various destinations and instructed the police to allocate separate parking lots during the celebrations.

The medical and health department authorities were informed to deploy special teams to provide medical assistance to the pilgrims. The Panchayat Raj authorities were also asked to maintain sanitation of the temple locality by engaging additional staff. The Rural Water Supply officials were also instructed to ensure round-the-clock water supply.
