Los Angeles January 09th, 2014: The most famous temple of god venkateswara in the city of California is none other than Malibu Hindu Temple. The temple built in 1981 is owned and operated by the Hindu Temple Society of Southern California. A traditional south Indian style of temple is very much evident when one has a look at the Malibu Hindu Temple.
It has two complexes where one level is for the Lord Venkateswara and the next level has lord Siva deity presided. The temple has many gatherings for ceremonies, and provides numerous space for meditation, picnic, it has a full stage for special cultural and Hindu programs.

Malibu Hindu Temple is located at 1600 Las Virgenes Canyon Road, Calabasas, CA 91302. The easy directions to reach the temple from Los Angeles is - Head north-west on W 1st St towards S Spring St
Turn right at the 2nd cross street onto N Broadway
Turn right to merge onto US-101 N towards I-110 N
Keep right to stay on US-101 N, follow signs for Ventura Fwy/Ventura
Take the Las Virgenes Rd exit towards Malibu Canyan
Turn left onto Las Virgenes Rd
Turn left onto Las Virgenes Canyon Rd and the temple will be on the left.
The temple can be visited from 9:00 A.M to 12:30 Noon and 5 P.M to 8 P.M during summer and 9:00 A.M to 12:30 Noon and 5 P.M to 7 P.M in winter on weekdays. On weekends and holidays the timings are 8:00 A.M to 7:00 P.M in summer and 8:00 A.M to 7:00 P.M in winter.
