Tirumala  January 7^th, 2014: The 12- member Parliamentary standing committee for science and technology, forests and environments chaired by Hon’bleRajyaSabha MP Dr.T.Subbirami Reddy reviewed on various aspects relating to Tirumala and its environs, hygiene etc. that are being observed in the sacred hill town of tirumala with TTD Officials at Sri Padmavathi Guest House in Tirupati on Monday.

Speaking on this occasion the Committee chairman Dr. TSR complimented TTD for its continuous efforts in keeping the environs of the tirumala hills not only clean and tidy but also making it pollution free. He said usually for a hectic place like Tirumala wihich is always flooded by pilgrims reaching Tirumala in differents modes of transportation, the pollution levels should be high but the pollution free methodologies that are being implemented by TTD are giving good results maintaining the pollution free levels in the entire tirumala hills. “Because of this pollution check stratergy that was strictly implemented by TTD even the entire ecology of seshachalam ranges are intact” he added.

He also complimented TTD Chairman Sri KanumuruBapiRaju and TTD EO Sri MG Gopal for their efforts in making tirumala a pollution free pilgrim centre.

The other members of committee includes Sri Vijay JawarlalDarda, Sri Ravi narayanaMahopatra, Sri RamkripalYadav, Sri ManimanojPandian (RS), Sri PradeepTamta, Sri Rajan Prasad Yadav, Sri RamshankarRajbhar, Sri MB Rajesh, Sri OS Manian, Sri Jayprakash Hedge, Sri SelvaGanapathy (LS) meanwhile the TTD top brass officials including TTD EO Sri MG Gopal, JEOs Sri KS SreenivasaRaju, Sri PolaBhaskar, Addl FACAO Sri O.Balaji, Chief Engineeer Sri Chandrasekha Reddy and others were present.

Later Parliament committee offered prayers to Goddess Padmavathiammavaru in Tiruchanur.
