January 6th, 2014: The Department of Music of B.V.K. Junior College is to host a classical music competition as part of Tyagaraja festival. The competitions will be held in ‘vocal’, ‘veena’, ‘violin’ and ‘mridangam’ on January 25 and 26. Participants can showcase their skills in three categories – sub-juniors (below 12 years of age), juniors (below 16 years) and seniors (below 20 years).
