One such historic landmark is the most famous Bharatiya Temple of NWI. The temple was grandly celebrated in 2010. The committee feels proud to be part of this great legacy, which will be passed on to generations to come. Northwest Indiana Hindu Religious Center (NWIHRC) is a parent organization of Bharatiya Temple of NWI. Yoga and Pranayama classes are also conducted at the temple.

The daily Pooja Schedule at Bharatiya Temple of NWI is every Monday Sri Shiva Pooja is performed at 7:00 PM followed by Aarthi, every Tuesday Hanuman Chalisa is recited at 7:00 PM followed by Aarathi, every Wednesday Sri Rama Pooja is performed at 7:00 PM followed by Aarthi, every Thursday Sri Krishna Pooja is conducted at 7:00 Pm followed by Aarthi, every Friday Devi Pooja is done at 7:00 PM followed by Aarthi and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM SuprabhataSeva is done and evening Aarthi is done.

The visiting timings of the temple are from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 5:30 Pm to 8:00 PM from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays the timings are 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:30 Pm to 8:00 PM.
