Nrutyotsav at visakhakalabharathi

Visakhapatnam January 5th, 2014: It’s been a splendid demonstration of Indian classical dance forms. The art lovers of visakha were enthralled by the exhibition of excellent dance performances by NRIs and foreigners. “bharatNatyotsav” was organized by Natraj music dance academy on Saturday at pithapuram colony in Visakhapatnam. Event was flagged off with the kuchipudi  performanceof manish from new jersey. It was followed by classical dance talents showcased in mohana raga of narayanathirtha’stharanga. Sculptural forms of the various temples were portrayed in classical dance style by guru deep rai from mascot group as part of odissi dance performance sreyabangera, devinaanil, aishwaryahegde,tamognadey, varharathi, sthithipareeda, anahithasurya, samragpebhattacharya were others who participated.

Versatility…

The standout performance was delivered by kumariAaruhivakkalagadda from America who portrayed kuchipudi dance postures, mudras, layagnana and susikhna.

Bharatnatyam was performed by Russian mother-daughter duo Aliyanora ukonova and Angelina ukanova with loads of dedication going into it. “jaganmohaney Krishna” of purandaradasukritiperformed by them unveiled the legacy of indian arts. Another impressive performance was showcased by bhartnatya artist jatinsubramanyan of U.A.E with “adiyarkellam” kirtana in keeravaniraaga. Another initiative was by kuchipudi artist srutisubramanyan of dubai with “MarakataManchela”. Various dignitaries in respective fields namely symbiosis technologies CEO, O.Nareshkumar, NMDA chairman Rekhala Krishna goud, AU lawcollege principal AcharyaA.subramanyam, Registrar koteswarrao, V.M.D.A chairman C.S.S.Raju participated in the event.
