SHOBHA YATRA BY BHAJAN MANDALIS

Tirumala January 5th, 2014: The three-day TraimasikaMettlotsavam flagged off in Tirupati on Saturday with the colourful “ShobhaYatra” of thousands of Bhajan troupes in the temple city of Tirupati.

The mass yatra started from Tiruchanoor temple and concluded at SrinivasaKalyanaMandapam where in scores of bhajanmandalis with over 3500 devotees hailing from AP, Karnataka, Tamilnaduand Maharastra took part with enthusiasm singing the Dasa Padas all along the streets of the pilgrim town.

The TTD Chairman Sri K BapiRaju, DasaSahitya Project officer Sri AnandaTeerthaCharyulu, DyEO Sri Bhaskar Reddy, Spl Officer DPP Sri Raghunath was also present.
