Los Angeles January 4^th, 2014: Sri Swami Narayana Temple at Los Angeles is the fifth temple built by ISSO organization in the USA. ISSO - International SwaminarayanSatsang Organization is a national charitable organization that builds, looks after and advances the Nar Narayan Devsatsang outside of India. The organization prime objective is "to advance the Sanatan Dharma, in accordance with the principles and teachings of the SwaminarayanSampradaya, founded and ordained by Lord Shree Sahajanand Swami"

Sri Swami Narayana Temple at Los Angeles has been installed by His Holiness 1008 Shri TejendraprasadjiMaharaj with a divine and emotion packed embrace. The followers felt a need for a splendid Mandir to enhance their children with culture, spirituality and devotion. They consider the Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Los Angeles as a divine gift from Akshardham for the devoted followers of original sampradaya of this area.

The Idols worshipped at the temple are – first and foremost the principle god of this temple - Almighty BhagavanSwaminarayan, BhagavanRadhakrishna, Shree Nar-Narayan Dev, Shree Lakshmi-Narayan Dev, Shiva-ParvatiDev, SuryanarayanDev, Lord Hanuman and Lord Ganesh.

The directions to reach the temple from los angeles is Head south-east on W 1st St towards S Main St   

Take the 1st left onto N Main St               

Turn right onto W Aliso St            

 Merge onto US-101 S via the slip road on the left to Interstate 10 Fwy E/Interstate 5 Fwy S         

Merge onto I-5 S and take the Pioneer Blvd exit towards Imperial Hwy  

Slight right onto Pioneer Blvd and the temple will be on the right

The temple timings are from 3:30 AM to 8:00 PM on all the days of the week. The temple is open all the days of the year and it’s never closed.
