Tirumala- January 3^rd, 2014: Swamy Ayyappa Temple on the Police Lines near Bhanu Gudi Junction is making arrangements to celebrate ‘Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavalu’ on a grand scale for one week from January 6. As a prelude to the event, noted religious scholar Chaganti Koteswara Sarma will deliver a discourse on the daily Sevas performed at Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirumala on January 4 and 5 on the temple premises.

Person in-charge of the temple P. Gopalakrishna, at a press conference here on Thursday, said that the objective behind the weeklong event was to provide an opportunity to the devotees of Lord Venkateswara in the city to participate in all the rituals being performed at Tirumala. He said that a replica to the Tirumala temple would be built on the Ayyappa temple premises for the event and all the Sevas, including Suprabhatam, Tomala, Archana, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva, and Ekanta Seva with Tarigonda Vengamamba harathi would be performed on all the seven days, he said.
