Mesmerizing classical dance performances at tanisha natyotsav-2013
Krishna, December 31st, 2013: One can witness a conglomeration of various dance forms exhibited as part of the Yuva natyotsav celebrations held at Sri siddendra yogi natya kala vedika in Kuchipudi of Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh. Apart from kuchipudi, bharatnatyam, Manipuri, mohiniattam and several other dance forms were performed with excellence at this grand venue demonstrating the unity in diversity of the Indian fine arts irrespective of the language that they are associated with it. This event was organized mutually by the All India kuchipudi natya kala mandali (Kuchipudi) and the PadmaBhushan Dr. vempati chinasatyam kuchipudi art academy, Chennai which was ended on Sunday.The memorial award of Late padmasri Dr. Vempati satyanarayana sarma was presented to Central music and drama academy award winner pasumarthi rattayya sarma. Memento were handed over to all the participants and artists during this grand event.

Kuchipudi has become a place of aura and joy with the overwhelming exhibition of bharatnatyam, mohiniattam, kuchipudi, Manipuri dance forms. The event was started with ganesha sthuthi, thayagaraja kirtanas ‘anandathaandavamaadey’ and sadasiva brahmendra kirtana ‘gayatri vanamali’ performed by Sri Y. Lalitha Sundari of Rajahmundry. It was followed by performances namely, bharat natyam by Sri Muruga Sankari of Chennai, Manipuri by Sudeep Ghosh of Kolkata, mohini attam by Sri Rekha rani of Bangalore, Kuchipudi by Kuruvi Subramanya Prasad, winner of Sri pandit bismillah khan award. All these received resounding applause and cheer from the art lovers and audience.
