TTD asked Annamacharya project to prepare tunes for another 12thousand krithis
Tirupati, October 31, 2013: The TTD has embarked on the noble task of spreading Hindu Dharma in villages and hamlets across the State.
At a review meeting on Tuesday, TTD Joint Executive Officer P. Bhaskar called upon the officials of various propagation arms and projects to spread the Venkateswara Cult. “Srivari Sevaks, members of the Dharma Parchara Mandalis and executive members should be trained and sent to villages,” he said, hinting that the project would be launched in three districts on pilot basis.
Annamacharya Project officials have been asked to compose tunes to the 12,000 kritis of the saint poet.
