On behalf of the TTD, the Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishat will perform special pujas from November 11 to 17 in more than 600 temples in the district, says Dharma Prachara Mandali Guntur district chairman Tadissetti Murali Mohan.
Speaking at a joint press conference here on Monday, Mr. Trinadha Rao said the ‘Mana Gudi’ programme, which coincides with ‘Kaarteeka maasa pujalu’ would be organised on a grand scale. The ‘Kaarteeka maasa prasastyam’ would begin with ‘vana bhojanalu’ on November 11 which would be performed at different places in the district.
Temple executive officers (EOs) and managers were requested to send the ‘Mana Gudi’ programme material and adequate number of ‘kankanams’ for devotees in advance and coordinate with the local leaders for success of the programme, said the Deputy Commissioner.
