Satya Sai baba Avatara Prakatana Dinotsavam

Visakhapatnam, October 21, 2013: In all, 3,000 devotees and citizens participated in the ‘Avatara Prakatana’ rally organised under the aegis of the Sri Sathya Sai City Seva Samithi on Sunday.
Every year, the ‘Sri Sathya Sai Babavari Avatara Prakatana Dinotsavam’ (Avatar Declaration Day) is celebrated on October 20.
Chanting of Vedas, rendering of bhajans, ‘Dhimsa’ dance by tribal devotees from Paderu, ‘Kolatam’, ‘Tappetagullu’ by devotees from the rural areas were part of the celebrations.
Children carried placards displaying quotes on human values.
State president of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation S.G. Chalam, convener the Sri Sathya Sai City Seva Samithi P.R.S.N. Naidu, president of Bothra Shipping Company B. Ramagopal, State coordinator (cultural) M.S. Prakasa Rao, devotees from 20 bhajana mandalis of the Sri Sathya Sai City Seva Samithi, staff, and students of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar actively participated in the procession.
The procession began at the Turner’s Choultry and passed through Jagadamba junction, Dabagardens, LIC junction, Rednam Gardens, Siripuram junction, and concluded at Sri Sathya Sai Prema Sadan Mandir at M.V.P. Colony.
