Hunt for 1000 tonnes Gold
Unnao (UP), October 19, 2013: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) started excavation at the fort of Raja Rao Ram Baksh Singh at Daundiya Kheda here on Friday for a gold treasure suspected to be buried there.
Priest Shobhan Sarkar, who said he had a dream that 1,000 tonnes of gold was buried in the remains of the fort, performed “boomi pujan” and marked the points to be excavated by a 12-member ASI team. Policemen have been deployed around the fort.
