Visakhapatnam, October 18, 2013: ‘Rasa dance with gopikas’, ‘Damodar Lila’, lifting of Govardhan hill, churning of the ocean of milk and Lord Krishna’s incarnation as ‘Kurmavatar’ are some of the interesting events lined up as part of the month-long Damodar Deep festival being hosted by International Society for Krishna Consciousness at Sagar Nagar that will be beginning on Saturday. Devotees can take part in lighting of the lamps, ‘sadhana’, ‘puja’, ‘parikramas’ and a number of discourses and savour special ‘prasadam’.

Dioramas of Damodara and Yasoda will be arranged where the celebrations will conclude on November 16, according to ISKCON president Samba Das.
