Bangalore, October 15, 2013: Many vendors who had come from villages around Bangalore to make a profit during Ayudha Puja were disappointed as there were not many takers for banana stems and ash gourd this year. While some decided to stay put for another day hoping to get some customers, several of them sold their produce to middlemen at throwaway prices.
