Tirumala, October 14, 2013: The nine-day annual Brahmotsavams here of Lord Venkateswara on Sunday climaxed with Chakrasnanam.

The ceremonies involved the immersion of the holy ‘disc’ of Lord Sudarsana in the holy waters of thePushkarini , the temple tank.

Tens of thousands of devotees, who braved the chill and waited patiently on the granite steps of the temple tank, took a plunge into the waters as priests carried out the immersion ceremony.
