Sugur Venkateswara Swamy Brahmotsavams
Gulbarga, October 9, 2013: The nine-day Navaratri Brahmotsava will begin at the Venkateshwaraswamy temple at Sugur, a village in Chitapur
taluk of Gulbarga district,
from Wednesday.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Krishnadas Maharaj of the Hathiramji Math, Tirupati, who is also the convener of the temple, said that after the inauguration of Brahmotsava, a procession of Garuda Vahana will be taken out on Wednesday.
The Kumbhabhisheka, scheduled to be held on October 15, will be inaugurated by the former Chief Minister N. Dharam Singh, MP. Women and Child Welfare Minister Umashree will be participating in the programme, he said.
