Vijayawada, October 9, 2013: Goddess Kanakadurga will be decorated as `Sri Lalithatripura Sundari’ on the fifth day of Dasara Navaratri Mahotsavam on Wednesday. She is known as `Tripura Sundari’ being in existence well before the appearance of Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara. Sri Lalithatripura Sundari bestows health and prosperity on the devotees as the `Adhistana devata’ of Srichakram and `Panchadasakshari Mahamantradhidevata’. In Sri Lalithatripura Sundari alankaram, the Goddess will be seated on the chest of Lord Siva and flanked by Lakshmi Devi and Saraswati Devi.
