Coimbatore, September 28, 2013: Unidentified miscreants broke into Varadaraja Perumal temple, near Athipalayam, in Koilpalayam police station limits on the outskirts of the city on Thursday night and decamped with 12.5 kg of silver.

Priests, who turned up for the early morning poojas, noticed the burglary and alerted the temple officials. A case has been registered.
