Agitators performed Bhajans

Kadapa, September 27, 2013: Private Professional Teachers Association members staging a relay hunger strike in front of the Kadapa Collectorate recited devotional bhajans by putting up a portrait of Puttaparthi Saibaba in the relay fast camp on Thursday.

Vice-Chairperson of KLM College of Engineering, Kandula Rajeswari, wife of former MLA and Congress leader K. Sivananda Reddy, faculty members and others recited the bhajans. A student dressed as Telugu Talli sat on the dais holding ‘poornakumbham’. Ms. Rajeswari said the prayers were organised seeking a change in the mindset of AICC president Sonia Gandhi and Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
