Bangalore, September 25, 2013: The Rabindranath Tagore Nagar Cultural Association, jointly with Sri Vinayaka Devasthana Samithi, is holding a three-day music festival from September 27. There will be two programmes daily. Kicking things off on Friday is Manohar Patawardhan with a vocal concert, followed by one by Gayathri Venkataraghavan. On the schedule on the second day is veena recital by Meena Murthy, followed by violin duet by Mysore Nagaraj and Manjunath (6.30 p.m.) The valedictory function at 10 a.m. on Sunday will be followed by devotional music and discourse by Vidyabhushana. On the same evening will be flute recital by Vamshidhar (5 p.m.) and Carnatic vocal concert by Trichur brothers Srikrishna Mohan and Ramkumar Mohan (6.30 p.m.) The shows will be at Vinayaka temple, 2nd Block, R.T. Nagar.
