Tirumala, September 20, 2013: The Tirupati division of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) will not permit vehicles, including APSRTC buses, between Tirumala and Tirupati on September 24. This is in response to a bandh call given by the Samaikhya Rastra Parirakshana Vedika in support of a unified State. TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) vehicles and two-wheelers will also be not allowed on the ghat road that day, JAC leaders said.
