Rajahmundry, September 18, 2013: The Urban SP T. Ravikumar Murthy has said that they have imposed certain restrictions on Ganesh idols immersion that is going to take place in the city on September 18 and 19. Speaking to media persons on Tuesday Mr. Ravikumar said that devotees will not be allowed at sand ramp ghat as precautionary measures. He stated that only three persons will be allowed along with an idol at the immersion spot as the ‘pantu’ will not bare the weight of more than 20 persons at a stretch. He told that they are expecting 250 to 300 big idols on the first day itself and the immersion will be allowed up to 10 p.m. in the night.
