Tirumala, September 17, 2013: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Joint Executive officer K.S. Srinivasa Raju said that work on the Golden Chariot is in full swing. The chariot will be pressed into the service of the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara during the annual Brahmotsavams scheduled to commence from October 5. A trail-run of the new chariot will be organised either on September 25 or 30 subject to the completion of the works.
