Busses Diversion for Vinayaka Nimajjanam
Hyderabad, September 17, 2013: The APSRTC district buses heading to the capital would be operated on diverted routes or curtailed at different locations in view of Ganesh idols immersion on Wednesday.
Buses heading towards Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Adilabad and Medak districts would be operated from Jubilee Bus Station and Picket from 10 a.m. onwards on Wednesday till the immersion of idols is completed.
Likewise, buses towards Mahabubnagar, Kurnool, and Raichur would be operated on diverted route – MGBS, Chaderghat, Dilsukhnagar, L.B. Nagar, Sagar Ring Road, I.S. Sadan, Chandrayangutta, Aramghar crossroads till 10 a.m. and after 10 a.m. buses on this route would be operated from Aramghar crossroads.
All the buses to Suryapet, Narketpally and Khammam would be operated from Dilsukhnagar and L.B. Nagar crossroads and those arriving from Zaheerabad and beyond would be run via Godrej Y junction, Balanagar, Bowenpally to Jubilee Bus station.
Warangal buses would be operated from Uppal crossroads, while those to Srisailam, Kalwakurthy and Devarkonda buses would be run from Sagar Ring Road.
Vikarabad and Tandur buses will be running from Mehdipatnam and long distance buses operated from BHEL and KPHB to different places will be operated via Godrej Y junction, Balanagar, Bowenpally, JBS, Mettuguda, Tarnaka, Nagole and L.B. Nagar.
For the convenience of commuters, RTC authorities are also planning special city buses between MGBS-JBS (platforms no. 55&56), MGBS-Uppal (platform no. 43, 44 and 45), MGBS-L.B. Nagar (platform no.11 and 12) and MGBS-Aramghar crossroads (platform no. 28, 29 and 30). This apart, 360 special buses would be operated on different routes in the capital.
8 MMTS special trains
Meanwhile, the South Central Railway has also decided to operate eight special MMTS trains between various destinations in Hyderabad and Secunderabad from 10 p.m. on September 18 to 4 a.m. September 19 in addition to the regular services.
Accordingly, train No. GSH-1 Secunderabad-Hyderabad MMTS special will depart Secunderabad at 11.30 p.m. on September 18 and arrive Hyderabad at 12.05 a.m on September 19. Train No. GHL-2 Hyderabad-Lingampalli special will depart Hyderabad at 12.30 a.m. on September 19 and arrive Lingampalli at 1. 20 a.m.
Train No. GLH-3 Lingampalli-Hyderabad special will depart Lingampalli at 1.50 a.m. on September 19 and arrive Hyderabad at 2.40 a.m. Train No. GHS-4 Hyderabad-Secunderabad special will depart Hyderabad at 3.30 a.m.on September 19 and arrive Secunderabad at 4 a.m.
Train No. GHL-5 Hyderabad - Lingampalli special will depart Hyderabad at 11 p.m. on September 18 and arrive Lingampalli at 11.50 p.m.
Train No. GLF-6 Lingampalli –Falaknuma special will depart Lingampalli at 12.10 p.m. on September 19 and arrive Falaknuma at 1.50 a.m.
Train No. GFS-7 Falaknuma-Secunderabad special will depart Falaknuma at 2.20 a.m. on September 19 and arrive Secunderabad at 3 a.m. Train No.GSH-8 Secunderabad-Hyderabad special will depart Secunderabad at 4 a.m. on September 19 and arrive Hyderabad at 4.40 a.m.
