Haflong, September 16, 2013: A temple of goddess Kali here in Assam’s Dima Hasao district was burgled and gold ornaments were stolen, police said on Sunday. The thieves broke the lock of the temple, located in Hagjar Nagar, and made away with the Kali idol’s gold eyes, tongue, bangles and crown, besides other temple valuables, the sources said. The priest discovered the burglary on Sunday morning and he informed the police immediately.
