Bhadrachalam, September 15, 2013: Bhadradri Balotsavam, a two-day children's festival, got off to an impressive start in Bhadrachalam on Saturday with schoolchildren enthralling the audience with their splendid dance performances at the inaugural ceremony. The two-day festival will feature competitions in a diverse range of cultural and literary events. Children from various schools from all over the district are participating in the mega event. Competitions in essay writing, drawing, fancy dress, dance and a host of other literary and cultural events were conducted on the first day. According to sources, Palvancha Revenue Divisional Officer Shyam Prasad, Bhadrachalam town CI P Srinivas Reddy and others participated in the inaugural function. A charitable trust is organising the two-day children’s festival.
