Audience enjoyed Mythological plays

Kadapa, September 12, 2013: Artistes of Sri Mayuri Natya Kala Mandali staged a mythological play directed by retired deputy tahsildar J. Rayudu in Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy chavithi utsavam at Seven Roads junction here on Tuesday night.

They enacted Sri Krishna Rayabaram written by Tirupati Venkata Kavulu, Gayopakhyanam written by Chilakamarthi Lakshmi Narasimha Kavi and Satya Harischandra Balanagamma plays. All the plays received applause from the audience.

Nandi award winner P. Sankar enacted the role of katikaapari and K. Siva Reddy as Arjuna in the war scene in Gayopakhyanam. Pullaiah played the role of Bhavani in Chintamani play and Aruna Kumari as Chintamani enthralling the audience. Other actors included S.M. Babjan, Sudarshanachari, Bala Obaiah Yadav, K. Jayachandra. Vali Sahib rendered music and Suresh Babu played tabla.
