Gold paadalu for Srivaru
Tirumala, September 11, 2013: A devotee, Thanga Dorai from Chennai, on Tuesday donated Rs. 1 crore worth gold ‘Padalu’ (armour to cover the holy feet of the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara). The offering was made during ‘Suprabhatam’ performed in the wee hours inside the hill temple.
