Vijayawada, September 9, 2013: The KCP Siddhartha Adarsh Residential Public School organised competitions for students on making clay Ganesh idols. Artist and sculptor L. Lakshmana Rao taught the students on designing the idols on Sunday.

Students Yuvaraj, Alok Kumar, Debarshi, Prakash, Sahith, Diya Chandran won prizes in the competitions. Students of Triveni Mahila Junior and Degree College prepared about 1,500 Ganesh idols with clay, paper, vegetables, cloth and cotton and distributed them to the residents in Patamata area.

They explained the people over the threat to humans and other species on earth due to environment pollution.
