Immersion of Ganesh Idols at Mysore

Mysore, September 8, 2013: The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board will ply mobile tankers to enable the immersion of Ganesh idols on September 9 and 11, according to a release. Arrangements have been made to ensure eco-friendly celebrations and curb water pollution arising out of the immersion of chemically coloured idols. Vehicles will be stationed near Metagalli police station, near Vikram Hospital at Yadavgiri and near Jayamma Govindegowda Kalyana Mantapa at Kuvempunagar from

4. p.m. to 5.15 p.m.; near K.D. Circle, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, near Shantala theatre and

near Jayanagar railway gate from 5.30 p.m. to 6.45 p.m.;
