Elaborate Security arrangements for the Brahmotsavams for devotees safety and comfort
Tirumala, September 9, 2013: Devotees willing to participate in the nine-day Brahmotsavams scheduled to commence from October 5 can do so without any apprehension.
Speaking to the media persons, Tirupati (Urban) Superintendent of Police S.V. Rajasekhar Babu on Saturday said that elaborate security arrangements were being made for the mega religious carnival. Additional forces would be pressed into service for the auspicious ‘Garuda Seva’ to be held on October 9.
Adequate number of police personnel would be deployed around the mada streets encircling the holy shrine, particularly at the galleries, enabling the devotees witness the two-time daily processions without any inconvenience.
To a query, he said that Samaikyandhra agitation had nothing to do with the nine-day fete and reiterated that the devotees can visit the temple without any fear.
Further, he said that the police have already graphed required designs to regulate traffic in a better way during the festival and said that no two-wheelers would be allowed to ply on the Tirumala ghat roads on ‘Garuda Seva’ day.
