Srikakulam, September 9, 2013: Srikakulam Citizens’ Forum and Junior Chamber International representatives on Saturday separately distributed clay Ganesh idols free of cost to people to stress on the importance of using eco-friendly material in making idols.

The Forum president distributed idols to the people near LIC Building and Raghavendra Swamy temple. JCI-Srikakulam wing president Korada Ramesh and other representatives also distributed idols while asking people not to use idols made with chemicals and plaster of Paris.

Sri Vijaya Ganapati temple authorities will distribute idols on Sunday at the temple premises.
