Tiruchi, September 8, 2013: Thieves attempted to burgle a temple dedicated to Sri Senganivai Perumal at Uthamarseeli near here early on Saturday.

The police said that the culprits broke into the temple through the front door and even broken open a cupboard.

A sniffer dog was pressed into service. No loss of valuables was reported.

Based on a complaint by Chandrasekaran, Executive Officer of the temple, the police have registered a case.
