Hyderabad, September 6, 2013: Members of Jana Vignana Vedika (JVV) have appealed to the devotees to celebrate Vinayaka Chaviti with Ganesh Idols made of clay, and protect the water and environment pollution.

Vedika State president Jampa Krishna Kishore has asked the people to perform the festival by installing the idols made of paper, cloth, cotton, sand and bamboo which are degradable. The Pollution Control Board and other departments should take measures to celebrate with small clay idols and prevent pollution, said Mr. Kishore.
