Udupi, August 23, 2013: The Sri Krishna Math/Temple will organise a host of cultural programmes titled ‘Ashtadinotsava’ to mark the Sri Krishna Jayanti and Vittal Pindi festivals from August 23 to 30.

According to a press release issued here, the cultural programmes begin with a Sitar and Flute Jugalbandhi by Pandit Purbayan Chatterjee and Pandit Rakesh Chaurasia from Kolkata on Friday. Ranjini and Gayatri from Chennai would perform on Saturday.

Mysore Chandan Kumar would give a Carnatic classical flute recital on Sunday, while Pandit Venkatesh Kumar from Dharwad would give a Hindustani vocal recital on Monday. There would be a Carnatic classical musical concert by Abhishekh Raghuram from Chennai on Tuesday. Ganesh and Kumaresh from Chennai would give a duet violin concert on Wednesday. Madhavi Mudgal and troupewill give an Odissi dance performance on August 30.
