Nellore, August 21, 2013: About 100 families from all over Nellore city took part in the ‘chandi homam’ organised at the Sankar Math at Mulapet here on Tuesday under the directions of Kanchi seers Sri Jayendra Saraswathi and Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi.

Brahmana Maha Sabha president Rallapalli Ramasubba Rao said that the ‘homam’ was held for the welfare of humanity. He said that the ‘homam’ was held here every month on ‘pournami day’.
