Tirumala, August 18, 2013: A pilgrim Viswanath, (45), from Maharashtra died of heart attack on Saturday while he was on his way to Tirumala. The deceased after trekking the tedious stretch of steep steps suddenly collapsed on the floor in the vicinity of the Gali gopuram situated half-way on the foot-path. He was immediately rushed to the TTD’s Aswini hospital where he was declared brought dead. Police said that he was accompanied by a group of friends and relatives.
