Thiruvananthapuram, August 13, 2013: The 100th Sreemad Bhagavatha Sapthaha Yajnam will commence on Tuesday at the Kanthalloor Mahadev Temple in Valiachalai here.

The ‘yajnam’, organised by the Chalai Grama Brahmana Samudayam, will commence with Sukhar Parikshita Varanam, Bhagavatha Mahatmya Parayanam, and Pravachanam at around 9 a.m.

On Wednesday, Bhagavatha Parayanam will commence from 6 a.m. All through the week, there will be two sessions of Pravachanam from 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. and from 7. 30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.

On August 21, the last day of the ‘yajnam’, the morning session will commence at around 7 a.m. with Bhagavad Gita Parayanam, Veda Parayanam, Vasoordara Homam, Abhishekam, and Avabratha Snanam, and at around 3.30 p.m., Pravachanam session will start.
