Mysore, August 12, 2013: An ancient tradition will get a modern technological heave as Mysore Dasara will go on the Web with a slew of new features this year. Along with live streaming of various Dasara-related events, there are plans afoot to have mobile apps to get Dasara information on the go. Also, 3D images will be uploaded on the site for the benefit of viewers.

Mysore Dasara would also be promoted on the search engine in different languages. “Hitherto Google search engine would give relevant results in English. But this year, it would be tweaked to get the search results in most national and international languages.” The authorities plan to have the official Dasara website — www.mysoredasara.gov.in — translated into 36 different languages.
