TTD Launches Unique Sevas as Vyalikaval Temple
BANGALORE, August 11, 2013: The Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) on Tuesday announced a series of unique initiatives for the convenience of devotees from Karnataka during the auspicious Hindu month of 'Shravana".
The TTD decided to bring seva archaks from Tirumala to perform auspicious pujas and sevas, which were restricted to the pilgrimage centre, at its Vyalikaval temple here.
The committee also announced a series of educative programmes and Suprabhatha classes especially for schoolchildren.
"It is important that children get to learn about our rich cultural heritage and the key elements of Hinduism at an impressionable age," said P Shyama Raju, president of advisory committee, TTD Bangalore on the occasion.
