August 10, 2013: With the start of auspicious Shravana month, the devotees have arrived in large numbers at various temples such as Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy devasthanam in Dharmapuri, Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanam in Vemulawada, Sri Kaleshwara Muktheeshwara Swamy devasthanam in Kaleshwaram and other temples in Karimnagar district on Friday. On the occasion of auspicious first Friday of the Shravana month, the devotees thronged the Dharmapuri temple and took a holy dip in the river Godavari before offering prayers to the presiding deities and also Goddess Santoshimatha on the banks of the river.
