Madurai, August 10, 2013: As part of their community welfare programme, Apollo Speciality Hospitals conducted a ‘1008 Thiruvilakku Puja’ at the Mahalakshmi Thayaar Sametha Shri Srinivasa Perumal Temple here between 6 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday.

A total of 3,500 devotees witnessed the puja, which is being conducted every year since 2002 when 1,008 people registered in advance to participate in it, according to a release issued here on Friday.
