August 9, 2013: The PG and research department of Sanskrit, Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College, will conduct “Samskrita Surabhi-2013” for school and college students as part of Sanskrit day celebrations on August 30.

The event will feature sloka recitation, painting competition, music competition, and oratorical contest in Sanskrit and English or Tamil. There is no entry fee. Students of class IX to XII, as well as UG and PG college students, are eligible to participate in the competitions. A maximum of 10 participants can participate from each school or college. Interested candidates can submit their names to the head of the Department of Sanskrit, Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College, on or before August 10.
